Mango Wood Round Coffee Table 4

A mango wood round coffee table 4 built to order in solid mango wood in our Saharanpur workshop. Round mango wood coffee table with open lower shelf and vertical supports; layered silhouette. Finished in honey, with the grain left where you can see it. Mango wood is close-grained and warm in colour, a plantation hardwood that takes a finish evenly. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. The finish is built up in thin layers so the grain stays visible rather than buried under paint. It measures 42 x 24 x 18 in (107 x 61 x 46 cm) and weighs about 22.1 kg.
