Mango Wood Nightstand 3

A mango wood nightstand 3 in solid mango wood, made the way furniture was made before it was flat-packed. Lemur mango wooden drawer & shelf nightstand bedside table, ornate rustic farmhouse style. Finished in honey, with the grain left where you can see it. Mango wood is close-grained and warm in colour, a plantation hardwood that takes a finish evenly. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Boards are picked for grain and strength, then planed, cut and fitted by hand. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 18 x 16 x 24 in (46 x 41 x 61 cm) and weighs about 12.6 kg.
