Boards are picked for grain and strength, then planed, cut and fitted by hand. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 120 x 36 x 32 in (305 x 91 x 81 cm) and weighs about 185.8 kg.
