Mango Wood TV Stand

A mango wood tv stand in solid mango wood, made one at a time rather than run off a line. Giltner 58" Solid Wood 2-Door TV Stand for TVs up to 65". Finished in honey, with the grain left where you can see it. Mango wood is close-grained and warm in colour, a plantation hardwood that takes a finish evenly. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 60 x 16 x 20 in (152 x 41 x 51 cm) and weighs about 27.3 kg.
