Mango Wood Table Lamp 2

A mango wood table lamp 2 built to order in solid mango wood in our Saharanpur workshop. Standard table lamp with solid wood base showcasing natural woodgrain, linen bell shade, rocker switch on cord, compact footprint suited to desks or entryway consoles. Finished in natural woodgrain, with the grain left where you can see it. Mango wood is close-grained and warm in colour, a plantation hardwood that takes a finish evenly. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 12 x 12 x 22 in (30 x 30 x 56 cm) and weighs about 4.8 kg.
