Mango Wood Hand-Carved TV Cabinet 2

A mango wood hand-carved tv cabinet 2 built to order in solid mango wood in our Saharanpur workshop. Vintage carved solid wood TV cabinet, TV stand for TVs up to 75 inches. Finished in honey, with the grain left where you can see it. Mango wood is close-grained and warm in colour, a plantation hardwood that takes a finish evenly. Boards are picked for grain and strength, then planed, cut and fitted by hand. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. The finish is built up in thin layers so the grain stays visible rather than buried under paint. It measures 60 x 16 x 20 in (152 x 41 x 51 cm) and weighs about 27.3 kg.
