A acacia wood storage end table in solid acacia, made one at a time rather than run off a line. Modern industrial end table crafted from solid acacia wood with a thick natural-woodgrain surface, sled-style base, open lower shelf for storage, and antimicrobial finish. Finished in natural woodgrain, antimicrobial finish, with the grain left where you can see it. Acacia is hard-wearing, with a grain that runs pale gold to deep brown across a single board. The timber is seasoned before a single cut is made, so the piece stays true through Indian summers and monsoons. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. The finish is built up in thin layers so the grain stays visible rather than buried under paint. It measures 18 x 18 x 24 in (46 x 46 x 61 cm) and weighs about 12.8 kg.
