A sheesham wood round armoire/wardrobe in solid sheesham, cut, joined and finished by hand. Armoire crafted from light-finished reclaimed solid wood with rounded corners; two doors reveal clothing rod and adjustable shelving. Finished in light finish, rounded corners, with the grain left where you can see it. Sheesham is the wood Saharanpur is known for: dense North Indian rosewood, deep brown, and the first choice of our carvers. The timber is seasoned before a single cut is made, so the piece stays true through Indian summers and monsoons. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. Boards are picked for grain and strength, then planed, cut and fitted by hand. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 48 x 22 x 78 in (122 x 56 x 198 cm) and weighs about 110.7 kg.
