Sophisticated black-and-ivory chenille tweed 2-seater sofa built on a solid walnut wood frame and legs for exceptional support; scratch-resistant upholstery, includes matching pillows. Finished in black and ivory blend, with the grain left where you can see it. Sheesham is the wood Saharanpur is known for: dense North Indian rosewood, deep brown, and the first choice of our carvers. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. The timber is seasoned before a single cut is made, so the piece stays true through Indian summers and monsoons. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 78 x 34 x 32 in (198 x 86 x 81 cm) and weighs about 114.0 kg.
