A sheesham wood executive desk built to order in solid sheesham in our Saharanpur workshop. 63 inch rustic solid wood executive desk with unique wave-leg design, farmhouse office desk. Finished in rustic, with the grain left where you can see it. Sheesham is the wood Saharanpur is known for: dense North Indian rosewood, deep brown, and the first choice of our carvers. Boards are picked for grain and strength, then planed, cut and fitted by hand. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. The timber is seasoned before a single cut is made, so the piece stays true through Indian summers and monsoons. The finish is built up in thin layers so the grain stays visible rather than buried under paint. It measures 48 x 24 x 30 in (122 x 61 x 76 cm) and weighs about 55.7 kg.
