Rattan Wall Mirror

A acacia wood wall mirror built to order in solid acacia in our Saharanpur workshop. Rexford Natural Wood Rattan Mirror Farmhouse Wall Decoration. Finished in natural, with the grain left where you can see it. Acacia is hard-wearing, with a grain that runs pale gold to deep brown across a single board. The timber is seasoned before a single cut is made, so the piece stays true through Indian summers and monsoons. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 24 x 2 x 36 in (61 x 5 x 91 cm) and weighs about 10.2 kg.
