A acacia wood storage kitchen cart built to order in solid acacia in our Saharanpur workshop. Finished in natural finish, with the grain left where you can see it. Acacia is hard-wearing, with a grain that runs pale gold to deep brown across a single board. Boards are picked for grain and strength, then planed, cut and fitted by hand. The timber is seasoned before a single cut is made, so the piece stays true through Indian summers and monsoons. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. The finish is built up in thin layers so the grain stays visible rather than buried under paint. It measures 5 x 5 x 8 in (13 x 13 x 20 cm) and weighs about 0.8 kg.
